Don is glue. He is one of those people who holds us together as a community. He has the empathy to see other people's needs. He has the compassion to help and the strength to contribute in a meaningful way. He is curious, so while he is helping someone, he sees others in need. He has the energy to chase those problems as well. His approach is pragmatic and thoughtful. I am fortunate to have him as a neighbor, and although I am on the wrong side of the ward boundary so that he cannot be my representative, our community is strengthened by his presence on the council.
